Making the leap
In 2019, Xtremepush entered the Magic Quadrant for the first time, going toe-to-toe with martech monoliths like Adobe and IBM in the Niche Players section. It was a remarkable achievement for a company just four years’ old and without VC backing.
This year we have made the significant leap to Challenger. We also believe that we are the youngest company to make the cut in 2020, which really speaks to the pace at which our product is developing.
How did we get here? Largely, by listening to our customers.
Our advances in AI and ML, as well as our introduction of a chatbot module extend well beyond the scope of what the average Mobile Marketing Platform offers. However, they were developed in direct response to the needs of our clients.
Our growth has been driven by a partnership approach, working closely with our clients to help them drive results.
So yes, we’re happy with our position this year. And it’s fantastic to see the work of our entire team recognised.
But to be clear, our sights are firmly fixed on the Leaders category for 2021. A quick glance at this year’s Quadrant reveals just how close we are to achieving that already.

Pushing the boundaries of a Mobile Marketing Platform
We offer an outstanding Mobile Marketing Platform that’s deep in capabilities across as varied a range of channels (including email and SMS) as there is available anywhere.
The roots of our platform are in mobile, where our co-founders recognised the need for software that could help brands better understand and engage with their mobile customers.
But there’s so much more to what we do, and so many more areas where we add value for clients. We’re expanding the expectations of what a Mobile Marketing Platform should be able to offer, and the 2020 Magic Quadrant confirms it.
Over the past 12 months, our product development team has been further enhancing our data management and unification capabilities. It’s always been an area of focus, but in 2019 we actually acquired a leading developer of Customer Data Platforms, one of the most widely discussed technology categories of the past 5 years.
Why did we do this? Because we recognise that the future of digital engagement will be exclusively driven by earned first-party data, ethically and openly collected from your customers.
Our goal is to provide brands with a unified solution for multichannel customer engagement, data and personalisation.
