    You know that the Murphy’s campaign was a parody (admittedly Murphy’s was much better) of a Budweiser campaign the same summer? Whenever the Irish weather reached a certain number of degrees, Dubliners could redeem codes for free bottles of bud. Even the Murphy’s TV spots were complete piss takes of the former.

      No, we hadn’t heard about that. I’m sure the Murphy’s campaign had a better hit rate than the Budweiser, unless they set the degree barrier fairly low!
