Business Development Manager

Location: Dublin

 

This position will be full time-based from our office in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. The ideal applicant will be from a B2B, software sales background. This role is sales, business development and account management focused.

About the role

The role will be to self develop new business opportunities, nurture marketing leads created by marketing, complete demos, create sales proposals and track all deals and customer relations in our CRM Salesforce. You will work as part of a team including other business development managers, marketing manager, technical director, and operations manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Manage relationships from all channels to help generate new business opportunities
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Organize discovery meetings with clients and prospects to understand their challenges, expectations, organizational structure, and other vital information.
  • Respond to Request for Proposals (RFP), create proposals, quotations, and all other aspects of the sales cycle
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of sales database
  • Attend industry conferences and specialized networking events to generate leads for the company
  • Meet given quota in order to contribute to the revenue target

About you 

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in software sales, business development & client relationship management
  • Knowledge of digital sales strategy with a demonstrated track record
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proposal and Tender Bid Writing Skills and experience
  • Develop a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Team player

Day-to-day role

  • Generate leads in the Xtremepush platform using the telephone, email and social media to proactively identify, contact and generate interest in our multi-channel solution
  • Follow up swiftly on incoming sales enquiries to gain appointments for the sales team
  • Call prospects to gain delegate attendance at arranged events and exhibitions
  • Work with our marketing team to formulate effective campaigns to generate interest in Xtremepush solutions

B2B Content Marketer

Location: Dublin 6

About the role
The position will be full time-based in our office in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. The ideal applicant will have a strong interest in content marketing and the world of technology but you’re not just an excellent writer, you’re a talented and creative marketer

You will take ownership of Xtremepush’s content production and work with marketing, sales, customer success, and other Xtremepush stakeholders to deliver valuable and educational content on product updates, marketing activities and much more.

Responsibilities include

  • Develop and execute an overall content strategy for sales enablement, continuously iterating and optimising overall approach based on performance metrics and audience insights
  • Create a full suite of sales enablement content that is targeted and relevant, for use across major sales channels including events, website, emails, etc.
  • Create engaging and enticing copy that showcases not just features or even benefits, but emotion provoking solutions to their biggest problems
  • Setting guidelines for the tone, style and voice of all brand content
  • Setting editorial strategy so content is consistent and compelling across all delivery streams
  • Creating specifications and appropriate content for the brand’s designated audience
  • Find opportunities to increase new visitor traffic, and implement the relevant content strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing team efforts to ensure alignment
  • Reviews effectiveness of executed content strategies and adjusts plans as necessary.
  • Contributing your ideas to, and taking requirements from multiple stakeholders, to plan the delivery of Xtremepush content plan
  • Collaborate with design to produce your written pieces on a day to day and week to week basis
  • Edit, proofread and improve existing content
  • Ensuring website content is written to SEO best practices
  • Identify, draft, and distribute press releases according to Xtremepush’s content plan

Required Skills, Education & Qualifications

  • You have a strong interest in content marketing and the world of technology but you’re not just an excellent writer, you’re a talented and creative marketer
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience working in B2B content marketing or as a journalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or relevant field
  • You have a working knowledge of how to apply SEO techniques to different content formats
  • Passion for new technologies
  • Good Knowledge of SaaS solutions preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on collaboration
  • Attention to detail is crucial, meticulous and thorough in your work
  • A great understanding of social and digital platforms and their roles and uses within marketing
  • A self-starter who is a customer-centric, detail-oriented and an enthusiastic team player

Graphic Designer – Internship

Location: Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and driven individual on an intern basis, with the opportunity to become full time. This position is within our Design & Marketing team and will work directly with our Graphic Design lead. Xtremepush is a fast, growing tech start-up in Dublin. The successful candidate will have the experience of working in a fast-paced, hard-working, friendly and social environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create assets for the Sales & Marketing team including website, advertising campaigns, print and email templates
  • Creative input and management of videos – produced in-house and outsourced
  • Input creative ideas across the sales & marketing team materials and channels
  • Update existing design work whenever changes are requested, ensuring that the company high standards are met
  • Organize, file and maintain artworks and design
  • Convey ideas into actionable visual executions.
  • Participate in company meetings and provide updates on all projects in the pipeline
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure all requirements are met (eg printing material)
  • Manage and deliver various projects at the same time

Who would you work with

Graphic Design Lead – Collaborate in the design pipeline and to satisfy the design requests coming from all departments.

Marketing Manager – Oversees and executes our own marketing activities, you would assist with creative ideas and assets for all campaigns.

Business Development Managers – Assisting with creative assets required for sales docs including decks, proposals, and email templates.

Experience and Education

  • Preferred Education & Experience:
  • BA in Graphic Design or similar
  • A portfolio demonstrating your skills (candidates without a portfolio won’t be evaluated)
  • Demonstrated good skills in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent design software

QA Automation Engineer

Location: Towcester (UK) / Dublin (IRE) / Ukraine

Candidate Profile

You are a highly motivated professional with a quality-oriented mindset. You are passionate about testing, you understand the value of collaboration and soliciting opinions and approaches that may differ from yours and are ready to pick up and enhance existing automated and manual tests that cover functional and nonfunctional (e.g. performance, load, security) requirements.

Your passion for quality extends beyond scripting simple manual or automated tests. You have an eye for detail and can articulate your approach to non-technical stakeholders.

The QA Test Engineer will work in one of our development teams dedicated to our successful marketing cloud platform. You will be responsible for developing and executing manual/automated tests that cover functional and nonfunctional (e.g. performance, load, security) requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Champion QA by being an active agile team member
  • Develop, maintain and enhance test procedures
  • Work with other engineers to increase QA productivity and efficiency
  • Build and maintain test automation in line with agreed standards including associated documentation
  • Help the development team to develop software with a focus on a quality deliverable
  • Work closely with the Product manager and developers in refinement, estimation, planning, stands and retrospectives
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement to your team and the wider Xtremepush community

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in programming (preferably php, JavaScript, java, Objective C);
    HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Web services knowledge (eg. REST, SOAP)
  • Knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
  • Experience with test automation in the following settings: Web, Mobile, Web Services;
  • Experience with creating/maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Experience with an automation framework
  • Programming experience with test automation tools as JUnit, codeception etc.
  • Hands on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GoCD)
  • An understanding of exploratory testing and when to apply it
  • Experience with different types of application servers and web servers, installed on different OS
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Initiative, self- starting, flexible and a quick learner
