Technical Support Agent

Location: Dublin

About the role

This role is part of the team responsible for providing our customers with a range of services and support, all of which are focussed on helping them achieve the very best results from their retention and automated multi-channel marketing programmes. The role focuses on platform support, user training and onboarding new clients, with secondary responsibilities as part of the services team to assist the Client Services Executives in various client projects and managing accounts if required.

Candidate profile

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a software support role
  • Preferably degree educated in a technical subject
  • Demonstrable experience in SQL, HTML, Javascript, CSS
  • Proven experience in supporting users of software platforms to a reasonable technical level
  • Delivery of user training sessions
  • Online and face to face meetings
  • A relationship builder with strong customer facing skills

Skills and Knowledge

  • Logical problem solver, able to understand an issue the client is having and work out the best solution
  • Self-starter, able to plan and manage workload within fast paced, busy environment
  • Authoritative, confident, able to manage the onboarding and training processes for new clients
  • Experience with HTML design tools and builders
  • Experience with Javascript, Google Tag Manager or similar
  • An eye for detail with the highest quality control standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, comfortable talking on the phone or face to face with clients

Job Description

  • Providing user support via telephone and email for our multi-channel engagement platform
  • Providing user training sessions for new clients
  • Managing the on-boarding process for new clients
  • Writing help articles and user documents
  • Testing new platform features and updates
  • Contributing to all aspects of the client services team, working with and supporting colleagues where required
  • Supporting the Business Development Managers with advice and assistance when needed

Typical days work

A typical day might involve:

  • Answering user support queries by telephone or email
  • Liaising with clients and internal staff to complete the onboarding process
  • Leading an online training session for a new user or on a specific platform functionality
  • Assisting in managed service work
  • Providing knowledge and advice in pre and post-sale meetings with clients
  • Attending account review meetings

Who would you work with?

Product Manager – A central resource with information to hand on all aspects of product functionality and product application. You would help with software testing and client feedback.

Technical Operations Manager – Responsible for the technical implementation of data-driven CRM based email marketing projects, managing software development and business technical operations

Business Development Managers – Finding and closing new business accounts, your assistance would be with discussing client needs to be included in contracts and providing pre-sales expertise.

Marketing Manager – Oversees and executes our own marketing activities, you would provide input for blog articles and case studies

Software Developers – Developing and enhancing features and functions within our platforms, your client-centric input will provide useful understanding of this.

About the Client Support and Services team

The Client Services team are the customer-facing side of Xtremepush. Our work involves supporting & training customers on our self-service Multi-Channel Experience and Engagement Marketing Platform and providing a managed service for clients who technical and strategy support. We also build custom projects for clients with specific needs not met by the out of the box software or those that need to integrate with a separate application.

Other roles include:

  • Provide pre/post sales support for the sales team
  • Work with Marketing to provide technical input into marketing collateral, blogs, white papers etc.
  • Work with the Product Manager to scope and feedback any platform issues and enhancements
  • Help specify new features and feedback bugs to the core development team
  • Provide training to users covering the use of the platform

Business Development Executive

As Xtremepush continues to grow, we are looking for an additional Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. We are seeking a proactive and sales driven individual on a permanent basis who will hit the ground running and enhance our sales activity. This junior position is within our B2B Sales team. The successful candidate will have experience in a sales role within in a fast-paced, hard-working, friendly and social environment. Excellent communication skills are important to this role. Xtremepush is a fast, growing tech start-up in Dublin.

Job Description

  • Creating and maintaining the client database
  • Managing all new enquiries and follow-ups
  • Carry out proactive, outbound sales activity to generate new prospects and leads
  • Enter new leads and maintain records in the company CRM system
  • Generation and analysis of sales & CRM reporting
  • Arrange meetings / sales demos on-line, on-site and at trade shows
  • Sales support administration
  • Account management of existing and new clients, including on-boarding new clients
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of technical understanding and proficiency in all areas related to the assigned Software and Technology Services offerings
  • Drive and administer the sales pipeline and report progress on a weekly basis
  • Gather and report key market intelligence

Business Development Executive

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 7LS

The Role

  • To generate and assist in the management of new business opportunities in Xtremepush chosen markets.
  • To enhance the Xtremepush presence and position in the Martech industry
  • Achieve company Monthly and Annual Sales targets
  • Within a small team, the role will also require hands-on skills to execute the overall sales & marketing strategy

Scope and Responsibilities

  • Market awareness; identify key market areas, messages and marketing activities to maximise Xtremepush market and brand positioning
  • Build and establish a network of industry partners and potential clients to generate new business leads and opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of live “new sales” opportunities in order to generate incremental revenue streams

Specific tasks include:

  • Generation of new business leads through all means of outbound communication such as; phone, email, social media, events, networking.
  • Working to KPI’s as set by the Business Development Manager
  • Qualification of leads and opportunities
  • Arrange sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Mining contacts at Senior Executive, C level staff and higher where possible
  • Support the Business Development Manager in sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Presentation of Xtremepush credentials and philosophies
  • Demonstration of key software capabilities
  • Maintain and manage the inbound & outbound sales cadence using CRM (Salesforce)
  • Weekly/Monthly Sales Reporting to Senior Management and Sales Managers.
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and networking events

Experience and Required Skills

  • 2 years (+) experience in a similar role
  • Preferably educated to a Graduate level
  • Understanding of digital marketing and/or solution sales is preferred.
  • Experience in using a CRM system to manage a sales pipeline is desirable
  • A team player with the ability to work well within a relatively small team
  • Strong ability to use office tools for presentation and documentation purposes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong and positive interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both in person and on the telephone
  • Proactive and a self-starter
