Graphic Designer – Marketing & Web

About the role
We are seeking a proactive and driven individual on a permanent basis within our Marketing team and will work directly with our Marketing Manager.
Xtremepush is the complete digital engagement platform, purpose-built for multichannel marketing. It empowers brands to deliver personalised, relevant and real-time messages across email, web browser, mobile app, sms and social messengers. We are a fast-growing company, doubling year on year, but our ambitions do not stop there. Having proven our ability to attract and retain customers we are now at the exciting phase of scaling up all aspects of the company as we look to expand into new markets.
A critical component of this is our continued investment in marketing and our brand, and we are now looking to hire a graphic designer to join the marketing team to work on the design of our website, advertising and brand collateral to drive business goals.
We’re looking for a designer who has proven experience in a number of core areas:
Website design – Maintain and design our website ensuring maximum conversion for new and returning visitors. Ensure layout and design is optimised for mobile and desktop. Create and design individual web and landing pages in WordPress. Identify opportunities and design challenges and provides solutions via wireframes and mockups.
UX – Demonstrated understanding of user experience principles, web trends, standards, and best practices. Produce wireframes, design concepts, typography, visuals, navigational symbols and icons for a wide variety of interactive projects all focused on improving onsite conversion.
Online advertising design – Leverage campaign insights and Xtremepush’s product differentiators to develop impactful, and on-brand creative that will be used in performance marketing campaigns. Design and create a variety of digital ads including: emails, social assets, ads for Linkedin, Google, Facebook and Twitter. Work with Performance team as they A/B test multiple concepts within their channels and platforms. Apply insights to optimize creative to drive stronger performance Understand and work within our brand guidelines and develop impactful messaging and design.
Offline collateral design – Guide the creative development process from ideation to delivery. Design marketing collateral such as direct mail, flyers, decks, event stands to cut through a competitive landscape and encourage the audience to visit xtremepush.com
- Oversee marketing design projects & maintain brand integrity
- Understand project requirements and concepts
- Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
- Produce final design solutions ( icons, banners, website, product interfaces)
- Pitch creative ideas
- Collaborate with team members to launch projects/campaigns
- Take on special design tasks (videos, colour correction, design research.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer – Marketing & Web
- Strong graphic design foundation in layout, typography, colour etc
- Experience with the main design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop) and prototype tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure)
- Teamwork skills

- Bsc/BA in Graphic Design or a related field
