“Customer-Centricity While Scaling Globally”

These words were at the heart of Xpression 2019, our 2nd annual Xtremepush global offsite held last week in Westport, Ireland.

Our entire team from across the globe gathered together for a full schedule of internal presentations and workshops. The mix of nationalities, perspectives, expertise and insights brought an incredible richness to proceedings. It was truly a remarkable event.

Xpression was a vital opportunity to ensure company-wide alignment and unity of vision ahead of what promises to be a momentous 2020 for us. We discussed acquisition plans (watch this space for more on that!), our exciting product-roadmap and emphasised the importance of keeping the needs of our clients at the centre of everything we do.

There were plenty of celebratory moments too, of course, as we reflected on our achievements in 2019.

Indeed, the past 12 months at Xtremepush have been exceptional in terms of both business growth and product development. We’ve seen our global portfolio of clients expand significantly across all verticals, elevating their multichannel campaigns to new heights and pushing us to enhance our next-gen marketing and engagement platform even further. You’ll be hearing about some of the more recent partnerships in due course.

In total, we’ve welcomed 17 new team members in this period (with a good deal more set to join us before the end of the year and into next year too).

For this reason, one of the most integral aspects of the event was the workshop on company culture. Just as we have prioritised customer-centricity as one of our core principles, so too have we identified our unique working culture as something to be fostered as we expand.

This culture can be summed up in three letters; KDH. That’s “Keep Driving Hard” to the uninitiated! Essentially, it represents a constant progression in all things, both individually and collectively. It’s woven into the fabric of our company’s beliefs, behaviours and standards.

High standards were something that guest-speaker Damian Browne really focused in on during his enthralling talk and the Q&A which followed. His story is inspirational and his achievements breathtaking. I highly recommend him to add value to any corporate event.

The idea of collective action was touched upon by several of our own speakers during their presentations. The team-building exercises in Westport House that rounded off Xpression were fantastic and the bonding effect they had was evident to all. We returned to our accommodation muddied and soaked but in great spirits!

The official Xpression 2019 video is below, expertly put together by our videographer Dan Dunne. It really captures the energy and enthusiasm shared by the whole company.

I want to extend our warmest thanks to the staff of the CastleCourt Hotel for looking after us so well and the staff of The Helm for their “over and above” commitment to keeping us watered and fed.

And finally, I want to thank the entire Xtremepush team for their individual contributions, big or small. From the old hands that have been with us from the very beginning to the newest additions, it was you that made Xpression 2019 the success it was. I am already looking forward to the next one…wherever it may be!
